The Challenge
Sandon Crown’s menu was only available as an image buried on their Facebook page—difficult to find, impossible to search, and frustrating for customers trying to decide what to order. Additionally, they offered a separate gluten-free menu that was only available in-store, meaning many customers were unaware of it before visiting.
The Solution
We designed a modern, user-friendly website concept that brings clarity, accessibility, and brand consistency to the entire menu offering:
- Searchable menu allowing customers to quickly find dishes by name
- Smart filtering by category and dietary requirements
- Clear pricing and descriptions for every item
- Dedicated gluten-free menu, clearly separated but easy to discover online
- Mobile-optimized for customers ordering on the go
- Brand-led design system inspired by the existing physical menu, using the same colours, typography, and visual language
The Concept
This concept uses Sandon Crown’s existing printed menus as the basis for the website’s colours and visual style, keeping the brand consistent across physical and digital menus.
A previously in-store-only gluten-free menu was added as a dedicated second menu on the website, making it easy for customers to find before visiting. The result is a clear, practical website that replaces an unreliable social-media setup with a menu experience that’s easy to access, search, and use.
